The event, in honor of Jewish Disability Awareness Mont, is scheduled for Feb. 2 to 4.
In recognition of Jewish Disability Awareness Month, Congregation Beth El will host a “From Inclusion to Awareness” event from Feb. 2 to 4 at 8000 Main Street in Voorhees.
On Friday, Feb. 2, the Proneg Celebration Shabbat begins at 5:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., the honoring of Beth El’s Project Lev Program and the South Jersey Special Needs Coalition will follow the Shabbat. On Saturday, Feb. 3, at 9 a.m., Shabbat Services will feature a panel discussion led by Rabbi Aaron Krupnick called, “The Importance of Inclusion: The Family Perspective.” On Sunday, Feb. 4, Service from the Heart starts at 11 a.m. Attendees are welcome to come sing and embrace the special needs community. Breakfast and craft activities will follow the service.
