A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
Thomas H. Wilks passed away on Jan. 14 at the age 90. Thomas was a 20-year resident of Moorestown.
Thomas served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1948. He worked for Pitney Bowes Company, most recently in the Elmwood Park office for more than 35 years.
He was the husband of 63 years to Ellen (nee McGrotty); father of T.J. Wilks and Shelley Wilks Geehr; brother of John Wilks Sr. and grandfather of Cory Wilks, Ryan Wilks and Alexander Geehr. Thomas was also the great grandfather of Benjamin Wilks.
A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church located at 42 W. Main St. in Moorestown. A viewing will take place on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home located at 78 E. Main St. in Moorestown. Internment will be at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery in Mt. Laurel.
