Bill Morriss, 88, passed away of a stroke on Dec. 5, while in hospice care in Stephens City, Virginia, where he lived for the past seven years.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Victoria and Tony Ciarfeo (Washingtonville, New York); Andrew Morriss and Carol Akers (College Station, Texas); and Elizabeth and Jock White (Stephens City, Virginia); and his beloved grandchildren; Kathleen Morriss (Uvalde, Texas), Julia Woislaw and her husband Daniel Woislaw (Norfolk, Virginia), and Jonah, Levi, Silas, and Grace White (Stephens City, Virginia).
Both Bill and his wife, Peggy, were long-time Haddonfield residents at 114 Homestead Avenue. Bill and Peggy were active in the United Methodist Church and the Friends of the Haddonfield Public Library. Bill rode his bike all over town, but particularly loved stopping at McClintock’s Bakery.
