The South Jersey Track Coaches Association honored Haddonfield’s Martin Riddell as their Boys Runner of the Year
The South Jersey Track Coaches Association honored Haddonfield’s Martin Riddell as their Boys Runner of the Year at their annual banquet on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
The South Jersey Track Coaches Association honored Haddonfield’s Martin Riddell as their Boys Runner of the Year at their annual banquet on Tuesday, Dec. 5. Riddell, a sophomore at HMHS, was the top South Jersey finisher at the NJSIAA Meet of champions in Nov. as well as the South Jersey Group 2 Champion. Also honored as a member of the All South Jersey team was Greg Eisenhower, a junior at Haddonfield. The top twelve runners from South Jersey are named to this team, voted on by the coaches. In addition to Riddell and Eisenhower, junior Sean Campiglia was named to the All Group 2 team.
The Haddonfield Boys team, coached by Nick Baker, was also recognized for their Group 2 State Championship, the sixteenth in the team’s history and the most by any South Jersey team. Runners on the State championship team included, Riddell, Eisenhower, Campiglia, Ethan Spellmeyer, Griffin Weiner, Stephen Kasko and Richie Glennon.
