Seneca High School NAHS raised donations from the community for local church charities
Seneca High School’s National Art Honor Society (NAHS) raised money through direct donations from students, faculty, and community members. In total, they raised over $700 to donate between charities at Come Alive Church and the Fellowship Alliance Church in Medford, NJ. The money collected is meant to help local families during the holidays.
Senior Sasha Giovanni-Sula said, “It felt empowering to be able to help others during the holidays. Knowing that there are families going through tough times, we were able to act and do something to help.” National Art Honor Society advisor and art teacher Bob Dooley added, “Our students gave up their lunch periods and their time during football games to collect for the families in need. I couldn’t be prouder of their efforts. Because of them, several families will have a happier holiday.”
