Three Medford Township Council seats up for grabs in Tuesday’s election
Today, Medford Township voters cast their ballots in the 2017 General Election. Locally, residents will elect three full-term Council members, as well as three Medford Township Board of Education members.
According to the Burlington County Board of Election’s unofficial results, Republican incumbents Charles Watson and Bradley Denn will be joined by newcomer Erik Rebstock (R) to fill the three open Medford Township Council seats. The candidates were challenged by Democrats Stanley Czyzyk, Kelly Clark and Linda Goldman.
The unofficial results reported Watson, with 4,312 votes, Denn, with 4,161 votes, and Rebstock, with 4,091 votes, took the lead against Czyzyk, who received 3,321 votes, Clark with 3,323 votes, and Goldman, with 3,285 votes.
Incumbents Katherine Sanatmore, with 4,582 votes, Jessica Siragusa, with 4,496 votes, and Trudy Cole, with 4,444 votes, will fill the three open seats for the Medford Township Public Schools Board of Education, having run unopposed.
The Lenape Regional School District Board of Education also had one seat in Medford Township up for election this year, with incumbent David Stow winning with 4,849 votes as he was the only candidate to run.
All results are unofficial until the board of elections certifies them. These numbers do not include mail-in or provisional ballots.
