Letter to the editor: Millennials and public transportation

Writer explains one of the reasons millenials may be moving out of small towns and into larger cities

In the article “Millennials On The Move,” one of the main components of drawing millennials to small towns was left out and that is good public transportation into the city for work and play.

One of the biggest reasons millennials tend to move into the cities is they don’t need two cars and have public transportation to get them around. I have been living in Mullica Hill for 24 years and in all this time there have been no plans to run the High Speed Line into Philadelphia from the Gloucester County area. It’s hard to believe the planning board hasn’t addressed this crucial improvement to draw all generations to this neck of the woods. Sound like a win-win idea to me.
