“Mad Mend” will take place on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Moorestown Community House.
Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development, Inc. (“MEND”) will host their 2017 fundraiser, “Mad Mend,” on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Moorestown Community House on East Main Street. Attendees can enjoy a Mad Men styled evening.
Tickets are limited so attendees should their reservations now. MEND’s 48 year-old mission is to maintain and expand the supply of affordable rental housing for low and moderate income individuals and families, including senior citizens and persons with disabilities, who cannot afford market-rate rental housing in the area.
Live music and entertainment will be provided by the David Christopher Orchestra. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a dinner buffet will be provided by Bacio Catering. There will also be a silent auction and a dress-up contest where attendees can come as their favorite Mad Men character.
This annual event helps MEND fundraise to achieve its mission. MEND is a private, nonprofit corporation that develops, builds, owns and manages affordable rental housing in southern New Jersey.
Established in 1969, MEND currently owns more than 716 apartments in 29 separate locations in eight towns in southern New Jersey. MEND provides decent, safe and affordable housing for more than 1,000 individuals.
