Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice to present discussion on wills on Oct. 17

This seminar is free but seating is limited, so advanced registration is required.

According to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, the state of New Jersey has already written a will for those who pass away without one, and they may not like the results.

Officials with Samaritan say when a New Jersey resident dies without a will, “intestate” — a set of state rules decides who is in charge of an estate and to whom assets will pass — goes into effect.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice’s upcoming panel discussion titled, “Will Discussion — Get All Your Questions Answered” will address this issue.

This panel will consist of volunteer members of Samaritan’s Planned Giving Community: Melissa Dibble of Archer, Yasmeen Khaleel of Capehart Scatchard and Barbara Little of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel.

This event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Samaritan Center at Voorhees, 265 Route 73 South, Voorhees.

This seminar is free but seating is limited, so advanced registration is required.

To register, email Chris Rollins at [email protected].

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, headquartered in Marlton, is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian, independent organization for hospice care, palliative (comfort) medicine, grief support and counseling, and end-of-life education and advocacy.
