The deadline for tickets is Sept. 28. Last year’s event sold out.
The Marlton Woman’s Club invites the public to its 2017 Fall Bingo and Basket Raffle on Sunday, Oct. 15.
The event will be held at Indian Spring Country Club in Marlton from noon to 4 p.m.
Tickets are $30 each, and include a catered lunch, dessert buffet, soft drinks, iced tea and coffee, basket raffles and 18 games of Bingo.
Attendees can also earn three free games by donating non-perishable food items to support the local Cherokee and Wiley Food Pantries. In particular, Cherokee Food Pantry is requesting Shop Rite Gift Cards, baby food, diapers, pasta, toothpaste, toothbrushes, jelly, bread, pasta sauce, paper towels, toilet paper, cereal and any canned goods.
Wiley Food Pantry is extremely low on pasta sauce, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent, canned fruit, cereal and soup.
Both food pantries are seeing an increase in clients and are facing dire shortages of food to provide to those in need.
Ticket deadline for the Bingo is Thursday, Sept. 28.
For tickets, contact Sandy Meltz at [email protected] or (856) 630–4118.
In the email or phone call note the number of tickets needed, contact information and names of recipients. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
According to the Marlton Woman’s Club, this event sold out last year, as did the club’s Spring Bingo, so the club is asking attendees to order tickets as soon as possible.
Indian Spring Country Club is located at 115 S. Elmwood Drive in Marlton.
Doors open at noon.
