Beginning on Friday, Aug. 18, Kresson Road will be closed to traffic between Brace Road and Haddonfield Road for deep sanitary sewer construction. The closure is expected to last until Monday.

“Motorists driving through the area can expect more traffic than usual, sudden stops and changing traffic patterns,” said Camden County Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Until these repairs are completed, motorists should try to plan around the affected route, and take extra caution when driving through the construction area is a must.”

Local traffic will remain open on both sides during the work and local businesses will remain open. A detour route will be in place throughout the duration of the construction. Motorists will be directed to utilize the intersection of Haddonfield and Brace Road in order to bypass the construction area.

While the project is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Monday, scheduling is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen variables.
