Boating Certification Courses at Cinnaminson Public Library

Are you looking to receive your Boating Certification? Do you know of someone who does? Then tell them to sign up for a two-part safety course at the Cinnaminson Public Library.

These classes will take place starting at 4 p.m. on both August 17 and August 24. Adults, seniors, and teenagers are all welcome to register.
The Burlington County Library System is teaming up with the United States Coast Guard Auxillary to offer boating safety courses. All boaters and personal watercraft operators are required to have a NJ State Police issued boating safety certificate on board while underway on NJ waterways.

These courses are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and include lectures, student workbook, handouts and testing to meet NJ State requirements. Upon successfully completing the course the US Coast Guard Auxiliary will process the required NJ State Police paperwork on your behalf.

A temporary certificate is awarded at the completion of the course. There is a $65 course fee, and this is a two-part class. Attendance is required on both days for certification.

Registration required by calling Mark Rubino at (609) 364–0929, or via email at [email protected]. Mention “Burlington County Library System” when registering and receive a 20% discount on the $65.00 course fee.
