Mt. Laurel residents who have questions or concerns about solicitors visiting their homes now have another way to verify their identity with a new list on the township’s website featuring copies of the township-issued licenses and photos for all solicitors legally registered to operate in the township. Officials say the new list will provide residents with yet another layer of safety.
Mt. Laurel firefighter sustains minor injury while responding to fire at multi-family dwelling
The Mt. Laurel Fire Department respond to a reported multi-family dwelling fire on July 5 on the 2100 block of Yarmouth Lane in the late afternoon. During operations, a firefighter sustained a minor injury and was transported to the hospital, although the firefighter was later released.
Kiki Open Scholarship Golf Tournament fundraiser set to return July 18
The 25th annual Kiki Konstantinos Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, July 18, at the Little Mill Country Club in Marlton. Proceeds of the event fund scholarships for graduates of all schools in the Lenape Regional High School District (Lenape, Shawnee, Cherokee and Seneca).
Friends of Mt. Laurel Library next book and media sale set for July 26 through July 29
The Friends of the Mt. Laurel Library’s next “Bargain Book & Media Sale” will take place at the Mt. Laurel Library starting Wednesday, July 26, through Saturday, July 29. Members of the Friends are invited to the special “preview night” on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8:30 p.m. New members are welcome to join then. The sale will be open to the public on Thursday from noon to 8:30 p.m., on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
