CareOne at Moorestown’s Medical Cannabis Conference and dinner will take place on Wednesday, July 19 at CareOne in Moorestown on Westfield Road. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the continuing education unit presentation will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude at 8 p.m.
At the conference, healthcare professionals can learn about how the properties of this plant work and how it can be used safely and effectively. This conference will discuss the properties and misunderstandings of the cannabis plant, the different ways it can be used as a medicine and the scientific evidence, as well as the many legal hurdles patients and healthcare providers still face when trying to obtain this medicine.
Guest speakers include Terrance Shenfield, ATECAM LLC and Dr. Andrew Medvedovsky. This event offers 2 continuing education unit credits for those interested in continuing education.
