A Message from the Moorestown Board of Education

The following is a message from the Moorestown Board of Education in regards to board president Kathy Goldenberg’s departure: At the June 20, Moorestown Board of Education meeting, the board accepted the resignation of Kathy Goldenberg. Goldenberg was confirmed by the New Jersey Senate on June 19 to serve on the State Board of Education, a position which does not allow for local board of education service. Goldenberg served on the Moorestown Board of Education since 2007. Her service included time as president, vice-president and the chair of multiple committees.

Moorestown Improvement Association announces 2017 scholarship recipient

The Moorestown Improvement Association (MIA) has announced it has awarded its annual Ellen Shiplee ScholarshipM for $1,000 to Kiernan Fallows, a member of the 2017 graduating class of Moorestown High School. Fallows will be attending the University of Delaware in the fall where she plans to major in pre-veterinary medicine. Kiernan hopes to open her own vet practice specializing in the care of large animals like horses. She was selected as this year’s MIA scholarship recipient because of her contributions to improving the greater Moorestown community.

Moorestown CEO inducted into College of Physicians

Chairman and CEO, Calvin H. Knowlton, PhD. was inducted into the College of Physicians of Philadelphia (CPP). CCP is known as the “birthplace of American Medicine.” To become a fellow means the inductee is “regarded as a learned and dedicated physician, scientist, scholar, practitioner, or provider motivated by the interests of their patients, students, and the public.” Knowlton is the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Tabula Rasa HealthCare Corporation (TRHC) located in Moorestown, a healthcare technology company optimizing medication safety by developing new Medication Risk Mitigation digital solutions and novel medication decision support tools.
