Four experts will be on hand to speak about a variety of healthcare topics at the forum.
Congregation M’kor Shalom is hosting a Health Care Forum on Wednesday, June 28 at 7 p.m. at M’kor Shalom. The forum is free and open to the entire community.
M’kor Shalom’s Social Justice Initiative has assembled the following experts to inform you what is at stake and explain how to be an advocate: Robert Field, professor of law and public health at Drexel University and lecturer at Wharton School, Dr. Gene Bishop, clinical professor at Penn Medical School, Physicians for a National Health Program and Evelyn Liebman, associate state director, AARP New Jersey. The moderator will be Joshua Spielberg, chief counsel for the Health Care Access Project, Legal Services of New Jersey.
This event is informative for anyone concerned about legislation that would cause 24 million people to lose their insurance, cut Medicaid funding by $893 billion, and provide billions in tax cuts to the wealthy.
