On Tuesday, June 6 students from the “Haddonfield and the Great War” class will gather in the Haddonfield Memorial High School library to discuss their semester’s worth of research.
The Historical Society of Haddonfield invites the public to join them on Tuesday, June 6 at 7 p.m. as they celebrate the work done by Haddonfield Memorial High School students this spring as they researched how the Haddonfield area was impacted by World War I. The event will be held in the HMHS library, located at 401 Kings Highway East.
The HMHS class “Haddonfield and the Great War” was offered for the first time this semester and is taught by Social Studies teacher David Reader. Students visited the Historical Society several times over the course of their research using primary source materials and viewing World War I-related artifacts in the society’s collections.
At this culminating event, the students will be discussing their experiences and previewing some of the digital content they compiled. A small exhibit of primary source documents will also be on display.
