Rowan honored its student-athletes who maintained a grade point average of at least 3.4.
Rowan University honored multiple scholar-athletes from Cherry Hill during its annual Student-Athlete Day on Monday, April 3. The presentation was held in the Eynon Ballroom in the Chamberlain Student Center.
The following Cherry Hill residents were honored for maintaining at least a 3.4 grade point average while participating on a Rowan University sports team: Mike Clauss, a junior soccer player majoring in elementary education; Nick DePersia, a sophomore basketball player majoring in civil and environmental engineering; Rob DePersia, a sophomore basketball player majoring in biomedical engineering; Ryan Federline, a freshman track athlete majoring in engineering entrepreneurship; Megan Miller, a freshman swimmer majoring in biomedical art and visualization; Erin Redmond, a sophomore lacrosse player majoring in elementary education; Mike Simunek, a senior swimmer majoring in mechanical engineering and Nick Smith, a freshman football player majoring in physical education.
Redmond was also one of 32 student-athletes who was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society at the ceremony.
