The discussion will cover the options and alternatives available regarding parking meters, parking lots, and other issues surrounding municipal parking.
The Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee will hold a Town Hall discussion regarding parking on Main Street and surrounding streets on Wednesday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Moorestown Library, Councilman Mike Locatell announced at last week’s council meeting.
“Those who would be interested in what we have in mind for the Main Street parking meter situation and parking overall, it could be good to come on out and give us your input,” said Locatell, council’s liaison to the Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee. Both Locatell and Mayor Manuel Delgado will be in attendance to represent council.
The discussion will cover options and alternatives available regarding parking meters and parking lots, as well as other issues surrounding municipal parking, and will be led by Christopher Chiacchio, chairman of the Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee. Steve Pazienza will represent the Moorestown Business Association.
The committee encourages all residents and business owners to attend.
The Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee is an official township committee with all members being 100 percent volunteer. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month and are open to the public. For more information, visit www.moorestown.nj.us/176/Economic-Development-Advisory-Committee.
