All high-school aged students can hear from professionals working in the fields of science, technology engineering and math.
The Lenape Regional High School District invites all high-school aged students to participate in its STEM Career Night at Lenape High School on Thursday, March 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Pre-registration is not required.
According to the district, attendees will hear from professionals working in the fields of science, technology engineering and math, who will provide insight into their careers as well as their educational journeys. The professionals will field questions from students in attendance.
“This is a great opportunity for students to explore careers in the STEM fields, which are in high demand and important for our economic future,” said David C. Maier, assistant principal and supervisor of math and science at Seneca High School. “Students can learn what careers match their educational interests and begin charting their path toward professional happiness and success.”
The professionals who have volunteered their time for the STEM Career Night represent a wide range of fields, from cardiology to environmental engineering and systems design. Participants will have the opportunity to sit in on presentations for three professionals, with each session lasting 20 minutes.
