In anticipation of a re-freeze overnight, Washington Township public schools will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow morning.
The Washington Township Public School District will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday, March 15 due to the expected re-freeze of roads overnight, according to Superintendent Joe Bollendorf.
Half-day pre-school for Wednesday is cancelled, but afternoon pre-school will take place as normal. Full day pre-school programs will be on a two-hour delay start.
The National Weather Service has the Washington Township area in a hazardous weather outlook, expecting areas of black ice to develop tonight as temperatures drop and wet or slushy surfaces freeze.
