As a result of two search warrants, Washington Township Police Department report five arrests were made
The Washington Township Police Department announced on social media yesterday three subjects were arrested after a search warrant was executed at 6 a.m. on March 9.
The individuals were charged with distribution of heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine, as well as possession of a 357 Magnum by a convicted felon and distribution within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
The subjects were committed to the county jail.
“We will work tirelessly to keep Washington Township safe and also educated about the effects and consequences of drug abuse and addiction,” the department stated in a Facebook post about the arrests.
Police also reported an arrest made on March 8 in result of a search warrant conducted by detectives. Two subjects were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“We will continue to combat the use and distribution of illegal drugs to protect Washington Township, and all who call it home,” the Washington Township Police Department Facebook post said.
No further details in regard to the arrests were given. Updates will be added as more information is released.
