Making “Great Decisions” on World Affairs at Medford Leas

A free discussion series will be held on Thursday mornings in March and April.

Intelligently discussing world affairs has never been easier, thanks to the “Great Decisions: Foreign Policy Challenges,” discussion series being offered by Medford Leas, located at One Medford Leas Way. For eight Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m., beginning on March 9, the Medford Leas Residents Association will highlight thought-provoking foreign policy challenges facing Americans today by showing a video of experts being interviewed, followed by a moderated discussion. The program is free, and attendees are welcome to join any or all of the discussions. Registration is not required.

The topics covered will include:

March 9 — The Future of Europe

March 16 — Trade and Politics

March 23 — Conflict in the South China Sea

March 30 — Saudi Arabia in Transition

April 6 — U.S. Foreign Policy and Petroleum

April 13 — Latin America’s Political Pendulum

April 20 — Prospects for Afghanistan and Pakistan

April 27 — Nuclear Security

Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs. The name is shared by a national civic-education program, administered and produced by the Foreign Policy Association. The program is back at Medford Leas due to popular demand.
