Applications must be in by April 7
The Shamong School District is offering a daily full day inclusive preschool program for eligible children ages three and four at Indian Mills Elementary School. This is a full day preschool program where students, with and without disabilities, learn and grow together in a supportive and nurturing environment. Class size will be limited.
Some of the criteria for the program include the following:
· Students must be residents of Shamong Township
· Age 3 or 4 by Oct. 1, 2017
· Toilet trained
· Up-to-date immunizations
· Transportation is not provided for typically developing students
If anyone is interested in the program and would like to apply, log on to www.shamongschools.org and download the preschool application form. Return it as soon as possible to the Main Office at Indian Mills Elementary School, 112 Indian Mills Road, Shamong, NJ 08088. Applications must be turned into the IMS Main Office by April 7, 2017, at 12 p.m. A lottery system will be used to select candidates for the program at the April Board of Education Meeting. The district will be notifying families by mail if a child’s application has been selected.
