Proceeds will go to the American Heart Association
Students at Elizabeth Haddon School in Haddonfield were challenged to raise money for the American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart. This national service learning program focuses on education, physical activity, and raising dollars for research. The students raised a record-breaking $22,243.
On March 22 at 1:45 p.m., a special school community meeting physical education teacher, Jennifer Wisniewski, who organized the program, will present students with American Heart Association Awards of Excellence for Jump Rope For Heart & Hoops For Heart to the top class and each grade’s top fundraisers.
Over the past fifteen years, the students and staff of Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School have raised over $150,000 for the American Heart Association. Founded in 1924, the American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to building healthier lives, free of heart disease and stroke.
