High Wind Warning remains in effect through 6 p.m. in Moorestown

The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Warning for all of South Jersey on Sunday.

Moorestown and all of South Jersey remains under a High Wind Warning until 6 p.m. on Monday night.

The National Weather Service issued the High Wind Warning on Sunday. The warning was issued with wind gusts of up to 50 to 60 mph expected today.

Sustained winds out of the northwest are expected to be between 25 to 35 mph. Though the heaviest wind gusts were expected to take place overnight, strong gusts of 45 to 50 mph are still possible this afternoon.

Residents can find tress and power lines blown down due to the high winds. Residents can reported downed wires or power outages to PSE&G at (1–800) 436-PSEG.

At about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, power outages were minimal in Moorestown. According to PSE&G’s outage map, fewer than five customers did not have power on Monday morning.
