Boys basketball and girls track achieve early week success
Jack Brockett scored 15 points and J.J. Scarpello added 10 more as Seneca defeated Timber Creek Tuesday 52–37. With the win, Seneca moved to 3–4 in the Patriot Division and 8–13 overall. The Bobcats next game is currently scheduled for Thursday against Lenape High School. Game time is slated for 6 p.m.
The Seneca Girls 4 x 800 winter track team set a new school record Monday at the Morris County Invitational. The 4 x 800 team of Grayce Heinemann, Carley Tool, Kayla Martin and Sydny Warner ran a time of 9 minutes, 24.68 seconds. The team’s next scheduled meet is Feb. 10 at the Group 3 Sectional Championships.
