Lavanda Clinkscales has been promoted to executive director at Brightview Mt. Laurel.
Lavanda Clinkscales, former executive director at Brightview Woodbury Lake, a Brightview Senior Living community in Woodbury Lake, has been promoted to executive director at Brightview Mt. Laurel, a Brightview community in Mt. Laurel.
“Promoting from within the Brightview organization is important to us,” said Rich Heaney, regional director of operations. “Brightview is proud of its commitment to training and developing strong leaders. Since joining the company, Lavanda has worked hard and is prepared for this new role. We are delighted to welcome her to the community.”
Originally from Richmond, Va., Lavanda studied at Penn State University and is a Certified Assistant Living Administrator (CALA).
When Lavanda began her career in senior living over 27 years ago, she began as a Certified Nursing Assistant and has climbed the ladder through a number of positions including account associate, business office manager, controller, memory care coordinator, assistant executive director to executive director.
Early in her career, she worked for Marriott Senior Living and Sunrise Senior Living. She joined Brightview Woodbury Lake in 2009.
“I am thrilled to be working with this energetic and caring team of associates at Mt. Laurel,” Lavanda said. “Residents and families deserve the best, and I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence in service and care.”
Lavanda resides in Mt. Laurel with her husband, Jermal. She has three children, is an avid reader, and enjoys crocheting. ‘Friday Movie Night’ with her family is a favorite weekly activity.
