The students were selected based off successful auditions against the areas best high school musicians.
In a press release sent out by the Lenape Regional School District on Friday, Jan. 20, it was announced that 11 Students from Shawnee High School performed with the All-South Jersey Band or Orchestra on Saturday, January 7 and on Saturday, Jan. 14 at Rowan University.
The groups, sponsored by the South Jersey Band and Orchestra Director’s Association, were comprised of the best musicians in the South Jersey Region. Students, Jun Choi, Aditya Deshmukh, Jacob Engime, Sam Feldcamp, Grace Gibson, Carl Hauser, Andrew Lee, Catherine Madewell, Peter Rushing, Connor Tamaki and Ian Willoughby were all selected based off successful auditions against the areas best high school musicians.
