Niche.com recently released its list of the top 100 best school districts in New Jersey.
Cherry Hill Public Schools is again one of the top-60 best school district in New Jersey, according to the website niche.com.
Niche.com recently released its annual ranking of school districts earlier this week. In the ranking, Cherry Hill Public Schools was named the 57th best school district in New Jersey for 2017.
The school district is the third highest ranked in South Jersey, with only Moorestown Township School District (17) and Haddonfield Public Schools (46) ranking higher.
Niche.com weighs a number of factors in constructing its rankings. Half of each district’s score is based off of academic grades, which includes state assessment scores, SAT and ACT scores and survey responses from students and parents. The other half of the score is a combination of culture and diversity, health and safety, parent and student surveys, teachers, resources and facilities, clubs and activities, and sports.
Cherry Hill was given an overall “A” grade from Niche. It received an “A-” or better in every category except for food (B+) and sports (B). The district’s teachers were also ranked favorably, with Cherry Hill having the 43rd best teachers in the state and fourth best in South Jersey, according to Niche.com’s methodology.
Cherry Hill’s ranking is slightly lower than the two previous years. The school district ranked 49th in Niche.com’s 2015 rankings and 53rd in 2016.
