On Jan. 17, Det. Sergeant Donald Gansky, who’s also the Investigations Bureau Deputy Commander of the Gloucester Township Police Department, became the latest graduate of the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Program.

Sgt. Gansky attended the intense 14-week program, which focused on conflict management, critical thinking, communications, counseling, decision-making and leadership science. The program has been in existence since 1993 when members of the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police collaborated with the U.S. Military Academy at West Point to develop future police leaders. Candidates for the program are required to commit considerable time and energy to pass this demanding course.

Sgt. Gansky joined the command staff and several other police leaders of the Gloucester Township Police Department in completing this prestigious program.
