Thank you for the summary of the happenings of Moorestown, which included a description of events concerning our water supply. The Sun’s summary makes Council, and especially Phil Garwood and Victoria Napolitano, sound more concerned about hiding reality than fixing it.
Specifically, The Sun said that Garwood and Napolitano “chose” to turn on a well that had been closed at the recommendation of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) against the DEP’s advice. Then, it later says that the letter that Council sent to its constituents in February 2016 was sent a year after the violation occurred.
Perhaps Garwood and Napolitano should be given the opportunity to address these actions and, if appropriate, set the record straight.
