Wal-Mart provided 14 Food Bank of South Jersey agencies as part of a $25,000 grant.
On Thursday, Dec. 22, Dennis Chang and a volunteer of St. Simon Stock with St. Vincent DePaul Church in Berlin, a food distribution agency for The Food Bank of South Jersey, accepted a new 2-in-1 freezer provided by Wal-Mart. A part of a $25,000 grant, Wal-Mart provided 14 FBSJ agencies with resources to help them meet their goal of rescuing an additional one million pounds of food in 2017 through their Retail Rescue program.
