Cherry Hill High School East is competing as one of nine high school division finalists in the 101.1 More FM Philadelphia Christmas Choir Competition. The school has recorded “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” for the competition. Their performance will air on 101.1 More FM on Tuesday.
The winning group’s song will be performed throughout the holiday season on the radio station. In addition, the winning school’s music program will receive a $5,000 cash prize and a chance to perform with The Philly Pops live during “A Philly Pops Christmas Spectacular Sounds of the Season.”
Residents can help Cherry Hill East win the contest. Voting will be open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The winner of the high school division will be announced Friday, Dec. 9. To vote for Cherry Hill East, visit http://www.morefmphilly.com/christmaschoir/.
