Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates is a story friendship, hope, and redemption set during the holidays in Holland during the 19th century.
Lenape High School’s will present “Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates” on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. and on Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Siblings Gretel and Hans Brinker live with their mother and ailing father, who was badly injured in a fall.
An annual town skating race is announced and the winner receives a shiny new pair of silver skates.
How will Hans and Gretel ever compete using their hand carved wooden skates? Will they ever find a cure for their dear father?
Come witness Hans and Gretel learn the valuable lesson of perseverance through determination, selflessness, and love.
Adult tickets are $10 and student/senior citizens tickets are $5.
