Lourdes Health System will bring its Zimmer-Biomet Mobile Learning Center to Cherry Hill on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and Thursday, Nov. 17.
Lourdes Health System is bringing the Zimmer-Biomet Mobile Learning Center to Cherry Hill next week.
The Zimmer-Biomet MLC will be in the parking lot of LourdesCare Cherry Hill on Brace Road on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 17 from 8 a.m. to noon. The MLC is free to visit and open to the public.
Built into a tractor-trailer, the MLC is a traveling education vehicle. The MLC educates the public on a wide range of orthopedic topics and treatment options. Lourdes orthopedic specialists will drop by to talk with visitors and answer questions while the bus is at each campus location.
Lourdes physicians welcome community members, patients, students and healthcare professionals to get a first-hand view of the world’s latest orthopedic innovations and learn about joint health solutions in this state-of-the-art educational vehicle.
“We are excited to host the Zimmer-Biomet Mobile Learning Center,” said Dr. Sean McMillan, chief of orthopedics at Lourdes. “This is a great opportunity for community members to learn about what goes into joint replacement surgery, get hands-on experience with joint replacement devices, and find out about the latest technologies to help restore mobility, alleviate pain and improve quality of life for patients.”
No reservations are required to visit the bus but lecture reservations are encouraged. To reserve, call (1–888) 568–7337.
