Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo has been notified that Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) will replace gas lines in the intersection of Brace Road and Kresson Road in Cherry Hill beginning on or about November 7.
“This is a major intersection in Cherry Hill Township. Motorists need to be aware of the construction taking place at the intersection of Brace Road and Kresson Road during this project and plan accordingly,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Whenever you are driving through a road construction zone, please stay prepared for traffic pattern changes and be observant of posted instructions or directions.”
The work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., in order to minimize traffic disruption. The project, which includes final restoration and paving of Brace Road, is expected to take four to six weeks.
“We will make every effort to minimize disruption,” said James Venito, Jr., Senior Gas Distribution Supervisor for PSE&G. “We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work to ensure continued safe and reliable gas service now and in the future.”
Although the roads will remain open, there will be detours. Cherry Hill police will be onsite to direct traffic.
