Annual Rock for Food Thankful Giving Holiday Food Drive
The Annual Rock for Food Thankful Giving Holiday Food Drive will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Flying W Airport and Resort located at 60 Fostertown Road.
Attendees must bring at least two canned-goods per person. The event’s goal is to collect 2,000 lbs. of canned food products.
At the event, entertainment will be provided by bands including the Juliano Brothers, The Blitz Band, 99 Reasons, Sanctuary and Diamond Dogs. Nutt-and-Butt Paddles Canoe Club will also be offering pictures with Santa on his sleigh for a minimal donation.
Additionally, Gentle Ben Charity Donation Program, a benefit organizer that provides opportunities for local charities and members of the community, will be organizing 50/50 and raffle floor events. Proceeds will benefit NJ Farmers Against Hunger, Neeta Graduation Class Committee and the National Junior Honor Society and Rocket Club.
