Obituary: Hogan

Ursula Joyce Hogan (Nee Smythe) of Medford passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17. She was 89 years of age. Born in New Delhi, India, she is the daughter of the late Daniel James and Pauline May Smythe and the wife of the late William Joseph Hogan.

Ursula was very involved in multiple churches, including the Cub Scouts and the Girl Scouts when she was active. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting and writing poetry.

Ursula is the loving mother of William M. Hogan (Patricia A.) of Shamong, Timothy A. Hogan of Southampton, Thomas J. Hogan (Janice) of Southampton, Joyce Leonardo (Ralph) of Medford and Patricia Ann Hogan (Bob Tracey) of Browns Mills. She is the beloved grandmother of Jackie Hogan, Christine Hogan, Bobby Hawthorne (April), Tracey Hawthorne, William Hogan, Kathy Stull, Timothy Hogan Jr., Justine Mackafee (Brandon), Patricia Ameigh, Brian Brilla and the late Daniel James Hogan. Many great grandchildren survive her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bradley and Stow Funeral Home located at 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. in Medford. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at the Jr. Mechanics Cemetery in Tabernacle. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests that donations be made to the Samaritan Hospice, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ. 08053. (Bradleystow.com)
