Haddon Fortnightly General Club welcomes new members Sept. 23

Looking to get involved in your community this year? The Haddon Fortnightly General Club welcomes new members to its meeting, Friday, Sept. 23

Visitors and prospective members are welcome to join in for this year’s first meeting of The General Club of the Haddon Fortnightly on Friday. Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. at The Haddon Fortnightly Clubhouse at 301 Kings Highway E. at Grove Street in Haddonfield.

The General Club of the Haddon Fortnightly Women’s Club is always interested in new members joining their organization. If you are a woman who is looking to get involved in the Haddonfield area community, meet other interesting women and take part in charitable, literary and cultural activities, our club may be just the organization for you!

“We are looking forward to a very successful and wonderful new club year,” new president Pat Underwood said.

Underwood has taken the theme “Over Do It” for the year, as a tribute to her daughter who passed away not long and ago, and lived this motto her whole life. The program speakers for this meeting will be our two delegates to the Girl’s Career Institute, who will speak about their experiences after attending this summer’s program. Light refreshments will be served.

The meeting is free and all are welcome to attend.
