Jaclyn Hayman will receive a $2,500 scholarship from the program. The award is renewable for an additional three years.
A Cherry Hill High School East graduate was one of five students who are recipients of a scholarship from the 2016 National Vision Inc. College Scholarship program. Jaclyn Hayman of Cherry Hill was announced as one of the scholarship recipients. All recipients will receive $2,500 to fund the advancement of their education. The award is renewable up to three years for a total scholarship of $10,000 per student. The program is open to all students whose parents are employed by National Vision. Jaclyn is the daughter of licensed optician Nathalie Hayman from America’s Best in Deptford.
“We are proud to continue to provide this important scholarship and want to congratulate this year’s winners on their impressive accomplishments thus far,” said Reade Fahs, CEO of National Vision Inc., which includes brands like America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses and Eyeglass World. “All five winners have already achieved great things in their academic careers, and we are proud to support them in furthering their education.”
Awards are selected based on the applicants’ past academic performance, future potential, leadership participation, work experience, their statement of career and educational aspirations and unusual personal or family circumstances. Scholarship America, a national scholarship program administrator, is also used to help determine recipients.
