Burlington County Library System begins collecting Halloween costumes for National Costume Swap Day Sept. 8

It’s that time of year again. The air is turning cooler, the leaves are falling and BCLS is accepting donations of gently used children’s Halloween costumes.

Go green and help celebrate “National Costume Swap Day.” Join in on this fun costume swap tradition with multiple Burlington County Libraries participating, including Bordentown, Evesham, Pemberton, Pinelands and Westampton. These locations are accepting costumes starting Sept. 8 to Oct. 8, the “Swap-Shop Day.”

Collect a ticket for each costume donated. Tickets can be used on the Swap-Shop date, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at any of the participating libraries for another costume.

Costumes must be in good condition. Costumes must be appropriate for infants through teenager.
