Tabernacle’s Kayla Raparelli is competing in the finals for the 15th Season of The Big Joe Jersey Talent Show hosted by 101.5 fm and Big Joe Henry on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. at Jenkinson’s beach in Point Pleasant.
For the talent show, she performed the song “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the Broadway musical “Dream Girls,” which put her through to the top 10 finale.
Kayla is 20-years-old and has been singing and performing since she was 5. She has always loved to sing as well as perform and has won many different idol competitions over the years as well as starred in the movie “Standing Ovation,” which was released in 2010.
She is a graduate of Seneca high school and is currently a junior at Rowan University, majoring in psychology in hopes to get her master’s in counseling.
In her spare time Kayla works as a resident assistant, and as the Director of Charitable Events for the Student University Programmers.
