Haddonfield Public Library nearly done move, soft opening Aug. 8

The following is from the Library Director Eric Zino:

We’re nearly done the move back into the library. These last couple weeks have been a kind of dance — folks installing furniture, various contractors doing last minute touch-ups, and library staff putting up the collections — lots of choreography went into this and we’re nearing the finish line for our soft-open launch on Aug. 8.

We are planning a great grand-opening celebration of Sept. 17, fun and activities for all ages! The schedule of events will be posted soon.

There’s a new book drop in front of the renovated library! Should you wish to return library items, please use this new drop at 60 Haddon Avenue. There are separate slots for both print and AV items. Book drops at the Annex on Kings Highway will no longer be available for use on or about Aug. 1. Remember any materials coming due the first week in August may be returned once the library reopens without incurring any overdue fees.
