On July 14 at 10:30 a.m., an Evesham officer patrolling inside the DDACTS Zone conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 70 by Route 73. During the investigation Evesham Police K-9 Ciko was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics. K-9 Ciko was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car. A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of 150 bags of heroin, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles.
Arrested:
A female, age 50, of Tabernacle, was charged with second degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, third degree possession of cocaine, and a disorderly persons offense for possession of syringes and drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000Â bail.
