The following report is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On June 29 at 10 a.m., an Evesham Police Officer was investigating a vehicle collision on Route 70 and Route 73 when he developed suspicious that one of the drivers was in possession of narcotics.
During the investigation Evesham Police K-9 Spike was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics. K-9 Spike was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car. A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of heroin and marijuana.
Arrested:
A female, age 23, of Medford, was charged with third degree possession of heroin and a disorderly persons offense for possession of marijuana and failure to surrender CDS. She was released on her own recognizance.
