MYAA Baseball Crowns 2016 League Campions
MYAA third and fourth grade league McDyer Allstate Agency Wildcats defeated the Carlyn Phucas Orthodontics team to capture the 2016 league championship on Friday, June 10, a beautiful night for baseball. The championship game was held at Hartford Crossing in Medford and saw the lead change hands five times with the Wildcats prevailing by a score of 8–7.
“This was one of the most exciting games that I’ve ever coached,” said Head Coach Mike Stoughton. “The teams were evenly matched and it really showed the way the game went back an forth. Everyone could feel that it would end up as a nail-biter in the end.” Stoughton continued, “This season was a total team effort with contributions coming from every single one of our players this year.”
