The Partnership for Haddonfield ‘Celebrates Spring’ and welcomes girls’ basketball teams from all over the Delaware Valley to Downtown Haddonfield during the ‘Bounce Into Spring’ event on Saturday, April 30.
Basketball teams and their families who will be in town for the 16th annual Lizzy Haddon Basketball Invitational hosted by The Lions Club of Haddonfield, are invited to enhance their visit with DJ music from noon to 4 p.m. while exploring great shopping and dining in the Downtown.
Merchants along Kings Highway and our charming side streets — which include Mechanic Street, Ellis Street, Tanner Street, Haddy Lane, Kings Court, and Haddon Avenue — invite basketball attendees and their families to ‘bounce’ into all the spring fashion, food and fun that the Downtown offers, before, during and after the tournament games.
The Lions Club of Haddonfield has organized The Lizzy Haddon Invitational since the year 2000. All proceeds of the tournament go toward the charitable projects of the Lions, with particular emphasis on helping the Blind and Visually Impaired.
