The following reports are on file with the Medford Township Police Department:
On March 27 at 11:51 p.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on a blue Nissan for speeding on Taunton Boulevard and ChestnutĀ Road.
Upon their approach of the vehicle, patrols detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from theĀ vehicle.
After a search of the vehicle on-scene was conducted patrols located a marijuana in the centerĀ console.
The suspect was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Medford Township Police Headquarters where he was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, and speeding. He was processed and released on a special complaint, pending his court appearance in the Medford Township Municipal Court.
On March 30 at 8:56 p.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on a black Toyota for a maintenance of lamps violation in the parking lot of Medford Center. Upon their approach of the vehicle patrols detected the odor of raw marijuana coming from theĀ vehicle.
After a search of the vehicle on scene was conducted, patrols located marijuana in theĀ vehicle.
Both subjects were subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Medford Township Police Headquarters.
The drive was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, and maintenance ofĀ lamps.
The passenger was charged with possession of marijuana under 50Ā grams.
Both occupants were processed and released.
On April 1 at approximately 11 p.m. the Medford Police located a vehicle in the parking lot of 257 Rt. 70 (Wawa) with two occupants who were acting suspiciously.
As an officer approached the vehicle he detected the odor of burnt marijuana emanating fromĀ inside.
A brief discussion took place at which time the driver opened the door and intentionally threw a glass water bong onto the ground shattering it.
She was immediately placed underĀ arrest.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a pink glass marijuana pipe, marijuana oil, a glass jar containing marijuana, and a digitalĀ scale.
She was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and hindering for attempting to destroy evidence.
She was released on summonses pendingĀ court.
On March 21 at 7:08 p.m., Medford Township Police Officers responded to a residence on Bortons Road for the report of a burglary.
The investigation revealed that sometime between December 28, 2015 and March 21, 2016, the residence was entered by smashing a second floorĀ window.
Once inside, the actor targeted the master bedroom and stole jewelry, valued atĀ $9,000.
On April 1, 2016, the suspect was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
He is currently incarcerated in Pennsylvania pending extradition to New Jersey where his bail was set at $75,000Ā full.
On April 2 at 05:59 a.m. the Medford Police were dispatched to the parking lot of Sharps Run Plaza (175 Rt. 70) for a report of four males in a vehicle smoking marijuana.
Upon arrival, patrols made contact with the occupants and immediately detected the odor of burnt marijuana emanating nfrom theĀ vehicle.
The driver subsequently turned over a black marijuana grinder and multi-colored, glass marijuana-smoking pipe with burnt marijuana residue.
A search of the vehicle revealed a zip-lock bag containing suspected marijuana in the passenger side door of theĀ vehicle.
The marijuana in the passenger side door was determined to belong to the front seat passenger.
Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Medford Police station for processing.
The driver was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motorĀ vehicle.
The passenger was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. Both subjects were later released pendingĀ court.
