The following reports are on file with the Mt. Laurel Police:
On March 11 at 4:07 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Route 73 for a disturbance. During the investigation officers arrested a female, age 21, of Lockport, NY for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.
On March 10 at 11:21 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near I295. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 24, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
On March 10 at 11 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police executed a search warrant at Therapy U Plus, 4201 Church Road following an investigation into prostitution at the location. Officers arrested a female, age 61 of North Wales, Pa and a female, age 49, of Flushing, NY. The female of North Wales was charged with promoting prostitution and operating a sexually oriented business. The female of Flushing was charged with engaging in prostitution. Both were released pending a court hearing.
On March 9 at 4:18 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to the Wegman’s on Centerton Road for a credit card fraud complaint. It was reported that two men attempted to purchase gift cards using fraudulent credit cards and then fled the scene. Officers stopped the suspect vehicle on Main Street near Young Avenue in Moorestown. The investigating officers seized numerous fictitious credit cards and arrested the four males of Brooklyn, NY. Two of the males were charged with credit card fraud/fictitious credit cards and uttering fictitious credit cards. Their bail was set at $30.000 with a 10 percent option. The other two males were both charged with conspiracy to commit credit card fraud/fictitious credit cards and uttering fictitious credit cards. Their bail was set at $20.000 with a 10 percent option. All four men were committed to the Burlington County Jail.
On March 9 at 3:39 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Albridge Way near Forest Lake Drive. During the investigation officers arrested a female, age 41, of Euless, TX. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
On March 9 at 12:38 p.m.. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fellowship Road near Pleasant Valley Avenue. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 57, of Brick. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.
A contractor working at a construction site at 7000 Midlantic Drive reported that a Toro cement mixer valued at $3000 was stolen from the site between March 7 and March 8.
On March 8 at 8:09 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to a narcotics complaint at a hotel on Route 73. During the investigation officers arrested residents a female, age 24, and a male, age 38. Both were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe. The male was released pending a court hearing and the female was turned over to another law enforcement agency for an outstanding warrant.
On March 8 at 2:36 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police located an occupied suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a hotel on Route 73. During the investigation officers arrested a female, age 38, of Willingboro. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.
On March 7 at 9:47 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Fellowship Road on a tip that a wanted person was staying there. Officers located and arrested a male, age 54, of Mt. Laurel. He was wanted by the Saratoga Springs Police in New York for assault and weapons offenses. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice with bail set at $10,000 no ten percent option and committed to the Burlington County Jail.
On March 5 at 1:41 a.m., Mt. laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Gate Drive near Fellowship Road. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 28, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
A victim reported his wallet was stolen while he was at the Wawa, 1115 N. Route 73 on March 1 at 6:45 a.m. He accidentally left his wallet on the coffee isle and walked away for a few moments. Once he realized he had left it there he returned to the coffee isle but the wallet was gone.
